1.) How did you get started in your field and why?
My husband and I started on this journey five years ago. We were just married and just bought a house. I was working a full time job and two part time jobs and I STILL wasn’t able to pay my bills. On top of it all, we couldn’t talk about money. It was the elephant in the room. The weight on the shoulders, and me as I am, I kept poking the bear and it never ended in a good conversation. So we decided to dive in deep TOGETHER. We surrendered to each other, we grew, we learned, and five years later, we’ve paid off over $200K and we’ve taken our relationship to the next level of intimacy. Money brings us closer than ever and we are truly changing our wealth story.
When my daughter was in my belly, my best friend saw what I wanted before I did. Amber Lilyestrom, a business and branding coach, knew I wasn’t going to want to go back to teaching (even after teaching for 8 years). I took her course, and in October I told the school I wasn’t returning. January 1st, 2016, my business was born!

My biggest challenge has been myself. I tend to get in my own way with self-doubt, overwhelm, false expectations. I have overcome and still overcome by having a STRONG tribe of like-minded women that I’ve created around me. They see me, support and love me. I ask for help when I need or want it.

Find you’re people—the people that know you and are like-minded. Surrender to leaning and allowing other to love you by asking for their help and guidance.

I stay motivated by seeing my goals (I have them posted behind my desk so I can see them when I have sessions with my clients), and by staying close to my WHY of doing this work.

Being consistent. Consistently putting content and myself out there and not getting in my own way.

*I have had two clients, just after two calls, pay off over 14,000 in debt and feel empowered with their money.

28.) What is your favorite way to network? How do you stay connected with other boss ladies?
In person for sure—I created my own local mastermind, but have also invested in a larger mastermind. I love being surrounded by like-minded women who dream big. <3
29.) How have you overcome feelings of inadequacy around competition?
I meditate. Everyday. Being connected to myself and Source allows me to be aligned and step into my true power.
